INDOOR/OUTDOOR BOILER CONTROL

In order to maximize your boiler’s efficiency, Gazifère is encouraging you to purchase and install an indoor/outdoor boiler controller (outdoor temperature sensor). This device registers the outdoor temperature and automatically and continuously adjusts the temperature of the water in the boiler by providing more heat when it is colder, and less heat when it is warmer.

Installing an indoor/outdoor controller will enable you to keep the desired temperature inside the building and achieve substantial energy savings.

To purchase the equipment, you can deal with any properly licensed natural gas contractor. The following two are authorized agents of Gazifère:

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?

STEP 1: SEND US YOUR PRE-ADMISSION FORM
In order to receive the financial assistance offered by Gazifère, you will need pre-admission approval before the appliance is installed.

STEP 2: OBTAIN GAZIFÈRE’S APPROVAL

Gazifère will confirm receipt of the pre-admission form within 10 working days. Gazifère processes pre-admissions on a first come, first served basis, and depending on the availability of funds.

STEP 3: ARRANGE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW APPLIANCE

STEP 4: SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
You must include the following two documents:

• The technical data sheet of the appliance

• The invoice for the purchase of the appliance

The invoice must be dated in the current year. The model number of the installed appliance and the date of installation must be indicated. The date of installation must be later than your pre-admission.

STEP 5: OBTAIN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Gazifère will review your application. If information is missing, we will contact you promptly.

You will be informed in writing as to whether your application for financial assistance has been approved or turned down. If approved, the amount will be indicated, and a cheque will be mailed to the address provided on the pre-admission form.
