CASH INCENTIVES AND FINANCING OPTIONS – RESIDENTIAL

Whether to add to the comfort of your home or to increase its energy efficiency, Gazifère’s cash incentive and financing options aim to encourage the addition of new natural gas appliances. A wide range of high-performance natural gas appliances are now even more accessible. Furthermore, by choosing a natural gas furnace and water heater, you could save a lot of money and enjoy a very quick payback on your investment.

Several cash incentives offers may be combined with Gazifère’s financing options.

Note : it may take Gazifère up to 12 months (after the meter inspection and connection at the address indicated in the application) to review an application for cash incentive eligibility to add an appliance for a «Gazifère customer».

Note : Appliances listed on the application for natural gas services (application for connection to the system) will be considered to ensure the feasibility of connecting the customer to the Gazifère system and to determine which appliances are eligible for the cash incentive. Thus, every appliance listed will be considered an addition during the connection of a «new Gazifère customer».

Only Gazifère is authorized to confirm the eligibility of a cash incentive for the addition of a new appliance. A customer may request confirmation of eligibility under a program by emailing pgee@gazifere.com before the work is undertaken. A customer may choose to apply for the program once the work is underway and/or the equipment has been purchased, but must accept the risk of being turned down. Gazifère does not provide any guarantee of cash incentives under applications submitted once the work is underway and/or the equipment has been purchased.

¹ To be eligible, the residential homeowners’ current primary source of energy for heating must be oil, electricity or propane, and they must be installing a new central air furnace.
² The contract to replace the furnace (purchased or rented) must be signed by a licensed natural gas contractor. Taxes are payable at the time of purchase. Offer subject to approval by the Gazifère Credit Department.
