NATURAL GAS CONTRACTORS

All new natural gas appliances must be installed by a qualified natural gas contractor. The contractor that you choose will be responsible for the safe installation of the piping in your home and the connection of your new appliances. Feel free to ask questions. Your accredited contractor can offer recommendations.

You can choose to hire any properly licenced contractor specialized in natural gas. You will find on the Corporation des maîtres mécaniciens en tuyauterie du Québec’s (CMMTQ) website a list of qualified contractors in our region.

For every natural gas appliance installed in your home, a Gazifère technician has to check that the installation has been done correctly. It is your contractor’s responsibility to let us know when the work is done. If necessary, we can contact you to make an appointment for the inspection visit.

Due to the flood advisory that has been issued in some areas, Gazifère may have to turn off the gas service to your property for safety. We will restore service when flooding has subsided.
