COMMERCIAL CONDENSING WATER HEATER
RECEIVE UP TO $19,500 IN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Condensing water heaters are designed to meet the demand for large volumes of hot water. They ensure optimal efficiency thanks to their ability to recover part of the energy that is generally lost by standard models. Environmentally-friendly condensing water heaters ensure more efficient energy use and at the same time reduce polluting emissions.
Gazifère offers financial assistance for the purchase or rental of commercial condensing water heaters that offer 90% or more energy efficiency. Two types of such heaters qualify for financial assistance: condensing storage water heaters (with tank) and condensing water heaters (tankless). The financial assistance provided by Gazifère can reach up to $18,500 for a condensing storage water heater, which has a tank, and up to $19,500 for a tankless condensing water heater. The financial assistance provided helps reduce the difference between the higher cost of a condensing water heater and a standard water heater.
You can make arrangements with any properly licensed contractor specializing in natural gas. Gazifère proposes two authorized dealers that specialize in the installation of natural gas appliances:

STEP 1: SEND US YOUR PRE-ADMISSION FORM
In order to receive the financial assistance offered by Gazifère, you will need pre-admission approval before the appliance is installed.
STEP 2: OBTAIN GAZIFÈRE’S APPROVAL
Gazifère will confirm receipt of the pre-admission form within 10 working days. Gazifère processes pre-admissions on a first come, first served basis, and depending on the availability of funds.
STEP 3: ARRANGE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW APPLIANCE
STEP 4: SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
You must include:
- The technical data sheet of the appliance
- The invoice for the purchase of the appliance with your application.
The invoice must be dated in the current year. The model number of the installed appliance and the date of installation must be indicated. The date of installation must be later than your pre-admission.

STEP 5: OBTAIN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Gazifère will review your application. If information is missing, we will contact you promtly.
You will be informed in writing as to whether your application for financial assistance has been approved or turned down. If approved, the amount will be indicated, and a cheque will be mailed to the address provided on the pre-admission form.
